The Red Horseshoe heel is the softest material which brakes the strongest of all the heels offered by Dexter. The beveled edge in the shape of a horseshoe and the tapered design offer maximum dege contact with the approach and a smooth transition from the slide sole to the braking heel. The Horseshoe heels are made of proprietary rubber compositions available exclusively to Dexter. Recommended for slippery/icy conditions.

H-2: More Brake (Less Slide)

The rippled rubber heel brakes the strongest of all heels offered by Dexter. This heel is 1/8" higher than all other heels. The additional height provides more braking power. Recommended for slicker conditions.
Includes with Men's SST 5 and SST 6.
H-2: More Brake (Less Slide) Reversible

The adjustable Braking Reversible Ripple heel is a high friction material similar to the original Ripply h2 but can be reversed to place the ripples in the forward direction to increase braking power. It's lower profile also suits some bowlers who feel that the original ripple is too thick.
Includes with Women's SST 5 and SST 6.
H-5: Brake (Standard)

This rubber heel is made of a special Dexter rubber blend which has slip coefficient added to the rubber and a smooth finish for even braking control. This rubber heel is standard equipment on the SST 1+4 because of it universal effectiveness on a majority of approaches. Recommended for normal approach conditions.
Fixed on SST 1 (men's).
H-5: Brake (Standard Slide) Blue Horseshoe
